Terms of Service

Vedicjaalam (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a multi-sector technology platform. Our current product suite includes:

• DealPro Consumer — a mobile app for discovering nearby retail deals, saving favourites, sharing with friends, and earning rewards.
• DealPro Merchant — a paid SaaS for merchants to set up stores, publish deals, manage redemptions, and access analytics.
• Sanathana — a community and culture app (coming soon).

We may add, change, or retire products over time. The list above reflects the suite as of the Effective date.

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Services on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorised to bind that business and the term “you” includes that business.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Keep your password and OTP confidential.
• One person or business may not maintain multiple accounts for the purpose of fraud, manipulation of deals, or evading limits.

You agree that you will not:

• use the Services for any unlawful purpose;
• upload, post, or transmit content that is misleading, defamatory, obscene, infringing, or that violates another person’s rights;
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with a business or organisation;
• attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorised to access, or to bypass our security controls;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape the Services other than as permitted by applicable law;
• interfere with the operation of the Services, including spamming, denial-of-service activity, or abusive automation.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, with or without notice, depending on the seriousness of the breach.

You retain ownership of the content you upload — deals, store listings, photos, posts, and reviews. By uploading content you grant Vedicjaalam a worldwide, royalty-free, non -exclusive licence to host, display, copy, transmit, and otherwise use that content for the limited purpose of operating and improving the Services. This licence ends when you delete the content, except where retention is required by law or to maintain backups for a reasonable period.

You are solely responsible for the content you upload and for ensuring you have the rights and permissions to share it.

Access to DealPro Merchant beyond the free tier is provided on a paid subscription basis. The following terms apply in addition to the general Terms.

• Plans and pricing are shown inside the Merchant signup wizard and on the in-app billing screen. Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Billing. Subscriptions are billed by Razorpay using the authorisation (mandate) you complete at signup. By completing the mandate you authorise Razorpay to debit your chosen payment method at each billing cycle (monthly or yearly, as you selected) until the subscription is cancelled.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. You may cancel at any time from the in-app billing screen. On cancellation, access continues until the end of the current paid period; we do not pro-rate refunds for the remaining period.
• Refunds. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. We may, at our discretion, grant a refund for billing errors, unauthorised charges, or material service outages.
• Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Razorpay will retry per its standard schedule. If retries are exhausted, your subscription status will be marked “halted” and Merchant features will be paused until payment is restored.
• Tax invoices. Where applicable, GST invoices are generated against the GSTIN you provide during onboarding. Keep this information accurate.

DealPro Consumer is free to use. Deals are published by Merchants and are subject to the terms each Merchant sets (validity period, redemption conditions, stock, location). Vedicjaalam is not a party to the transaction between you and a Merchant. If a deal is not honoured or the experience falls short, please raise it with the Merchant first; you can also report it to us at privacy@vedicjaalam.com and we may take action against the Merchant in line with our policies.

Rewards points, where offered, have no cash value and are governed by the in-app rewards rules. We may change, expire, or revoke points to prevent fraud or misuse.

The Services, including software, designs, logos, and content we author, are owned by Vedicjaalam and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited rights we expressly grant you in these Terms, we reserve all rights. You must not use our trademarks, branding, or product names without our prior written permission.

The Services rely on third-party providers (for payments, authentication, hosting, maps, analytics, push notifications, error monitoring, and similar functions). Your use of those providers is also subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third parties.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any specific feature will continue to be offered. Information shown in the Services (including deals, prices, and rewards balances) may be out of date or incorrect; we do our best to keep it accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Vedicjaalam be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or INR 5,000, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold Vedicjaalam, its officers, employees, and processors harmless against any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or your violation of any law or any third party’s rights.

You may stop using the Services at any time and may close your account from the in-app settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we reasonably believe your account has been compromised or is being used unlawfully, or if we are required to do so by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including IP, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and governing law) will survive.

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or relating to them or the Services are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any consumer-protection rights that you cannot waive under applicable law. Before initiating any court proceeding, you agree to first contact us at privacy@vedicjaalam.com so that we can attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith.
